Kris Vallotton – “Heavy Rain”

I love this stuff… Yay God!

Notes…

“The apostle Peter said that God was going to pour his spirit on all flesh.  Thus the title, Heavy Rain.
Jesus taught his disciples to pray the lords prayer… your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
What would it look like if everybody on the planet was impacted by the spirit of God?  Did Jesus actually mean that earth should be like heaven?
In the last chapter in the book of Matthew, Jesus commissioned his disciples to make disciples of all nations.  Why is it that we are making disciples ‘in’ all nations?  Why is it that the people that have the mind of Christ, the wisdom of the ages, in whom the creator lives in…  Why are we not leading every realm of society, every invention, every innovation… & for heavens sake why aren’t we doing greater works than Jesus?  What is it that is keeping every Christian from their God given destiny?  Is it possible that we are on the eve of construction… that God wants us to be a channel to the greatest move of God in human history?
Its my desire that every believer would be a spiritual catalyst, that reforms the church, restores their city, & transforms the world…until the kingdom of this world becomes the kingdom of our God, & history becomes his-story.”

I haven’t read this book, but have listened to several audios from Kris.  Here’s a review from someone who has read it…
