Random thoughts…

Faith is spelt R-I-S-K. I don’t know who said this first, but I do know that John Wimber mentioned it several times.

Here’s my challenge to you… you know it’s a new season in God.  Well now it’s time to step out.  Time to stop talking & start doing.  Just baby steps is fine… just use what you have, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem.  You are the key for this new season, but you must take a risk!

God is raising up a new leadership for this season… everyone gets to play.  In fact that was the strategy all along, but the shepherds keep getting it wrong… but that’s another story.  For this season, God is raising up shepherds after his own heart (Jer 3:15).  Those ‘shepherds’ just may look like the wrong person… like Paul was the wrong guy to go to the gentiles.  He had never eaten with a gentile in his whole life.  He didn’t even like gentiles.  Expect some surprises in this season!

I like the story of Nehemiah.  Everyone was out of their comfort zone, including Nehemiah… he was a wine taster, not a builder.  The project starts off in chapter 3 with the high priest Eliashib & the other priests getting stuck in & building the sheep gate.  They were way out of their comfort zone!

Let’s do it!  LET US RISE & BUILD (Neh 2:18)

  1. YES!!! A new season of shepherds released to go and find the lost, tend them, teach them how to feed themselves, and ultimately, release them to follow suit! YES!!!
