i like this stuff…
when heaven comes down, all the rules change.
here’s the thing about heaven…
it is important for us to stop praying in certain ways.
we need to stop praying like a widow, & start praying like a bride.
we need to practice prayer from the place of being the beloved of god.
we need to stop praying towards god, & start praying with him, because we are a habitation culture, we’re not a visitation one.
we need to stop treating god like he’s our favourite uncle who visits every now & then, & really that’s what we’re hanging out for in the holy ghost.
we just need a visitation from god. we just need god to come.
the good news is… he’s already come, he’s here, & he’s not leaving.
we need to stop asking heaven to do something that it’s already done.
jesus said, i am the door. he is standing in heaven right now, before the father, interceding for us.
what’s he interceding for? that you will understand that there is a door in heaven, & it’s open. so stop asking god to open a window in heaven, when there’s a flippin’ door open, & it’s been open for 2000 years.
so we need to pray in alignment with who god is. there is a door in heaven. it is open 24-7.
this is the rule of the prophetic. when god grants you something, he gives you permission to take him for granted.
when god grants you something, there is automatic freedom & permission for you to take him for granted.
that means when god grants you something, you don’t pray over it, you rejoice over it.
you don’t enter into a place of supplication, & ask that you have it. you enter into a place of declaration, thank you that i have it.
when god speaks prophetically, it changes the dynamic of the next conversation you have with him.
when he grants you something, he’s not asking you to ask him for it. he’s saying now i want you to declare to me that you have it. i want you to start operating in your life as though it belongs to you.
that’s what the prophetic gives us. it gives us opportunity to accelerate our response to who god is.
