god destroys homes?

random thoughts…

[ i’ve had writer’s block recently, ‘cos i didn’t want to share this post.  i don’t quite know what to say, so here goes… ]

recently i came across this web page from a well known ministry…

The Glory Wind and the Revival Wind Have Met in Michigan!

On January 8, 2012…  I shared: “Michigan is on God’s radar.  It’s important we move from east to west.  We are asking God to bring a glory realm in, that this region has not seen. Then we will move to the west and stir up the revival wind, and it is going to create…  It’s going to be interesting to have a tornado over Michigan this coming year. It will be a sign to you that the winds have met.  The glory wind and the revival wind have met.  It is going to be interesting to see where it meets, what happens, and what goes on as God continues to move in this area!”

Last night a severe storm system moved across parts of Michigan, and today’s headlines read:

U.S. News – More than 110 homes damaged…

Meteorologists have said it’s unusual for Michigan to have a tornado this early in March, and that snow would be far more common for this type of year. So let’s continue to watch Michigan for how the Lord releases Glory and Revival!

& here’s the news story…

A tornado ripped through a rural Michigan community Thursday evening, damaging or demolishing many homes, downing trees and power lines, sparking fires and flooding roads.

hmmm…  so i pondered it for a day.  i asked my wife what she thought.  ‘that’s odd’ she says.  ‘i just think that’s very odd.’

i left a message on the contact page of the website

As a brother in the Lord, I beg you to reconsider your recent online article …

It doesn’t sound compassionate to the people of Michigan who had their homes destroyed.  I’m sure this is not your intention.

so, what more can i say?

i would love to just ignore it, nothing to do with me, etc.  but i can’t.  it is not my intention to dishonor anyone, really, & i’m trying not to rant.

…but sometimes enough is enough, & this is one of those moments for me.

my thoughts?  stop this craziness.  stop rejoicing in someone’s tragedy in the name of prophecy.

if you think something needs to be said… try the contact page at gloryofzion.org.  (please show respect)

i would point out that shekinahsite.org shared the same prophetic word, but included a word of compassion for those who suffered loss.

what do you think?
